I don’t have the attitude and/or confidence to ever pull this off…without a perpetual grimace or ridiculous expression on my face. Do you? If so, I want to meet you. Now.

This is the descriptor from Old Navy:

“When it comes to style, just wing it. Bright butterflies adorn soft, lightweight cotton knit.”

And wing it they did! Would you wear it?

Absolutely. No one can claim without giggling that this is a classic but for a carefree summer look, its perfect. After all, at the price of old navy, is it even worth dry cleaning it for a 2nd wear?

Dry Cleaning?! What?! Who dry cleans Old Navy wear? Not I, says I.

  • Shoot me now! I’ve dry cleaned my Oldnavy cashmere sweater twice already!

wot?! wow I don’t know how you do it – I’m cheap and I hate buying clothes that need drycleaning. It’s a way of life.

    Dry cleaning = $8 a piece isn’t it?

  • it reminds me of 1997 when i was 17 and there was a trend for chicks to get butterfly tattoos. the trend got so out of conrol that it forced a lot of us cool girls into butterfly hatred and to ban them from all clothing and accessories. which was sad, cause i had a pretty rad vintage monarch printed tee that looked great with my mens saggy pants.
looks like she’s back. i wish the sweater wasn’t so obvious and literal with its butterfly-ness. or maybe thats why its good? or maybe recovery from 97 isn’t possible. tattoos are permanenet afterall.

These things are so ghastly it hurts!

Butterfly tattoos huh! I think these days little girls take it way too far and they end up putting temp tattoos in the most inappropriate places. Way to go mtv. Jerks!
