One Tie or Two?

Posted by FitOverFabric 28 September 2007 One Comment

Any of us with experience working in an office knows a One-tie, that one guy who always comes into work wearing the same raggedy tie and shirt combo each and every day. Here’s a tip for personal and professional success, don’t be him! Mix and match new shirt and tie combinations each day to ensure you never look as down on your luck as he does. After all, One-tie is usually the same person as One-job, the guy who’s been working in the same cubicle, doing the same job, wearing the same shirt and tie for so long that they might has well have built the building around him. Like it or not, what you wear is an advertisement of your abilities and work ethic. Wrinkled and stained clothing just scream, “I slept in this and I’m not planning to change tonight either!” And no guys, flipping the shirt inside out does not constitute changing so stop reading this and go out and buy some clothes already.
