I had so much fun this season – travelling, new job, new people and surroundings, fantastic experiences, beautiful generousity, and an overwhelming feeling of content. Here are some of my favourite pictures from this holiday (thus far..the season’s not quite over is it?)

I’m always taken with the festive images, decor, wrapping, and elaborate celebration of the season.

A surprise Christmas gift that I received on the plane to Chicago – note the fun wrapping paper ;) I had recently lost my camera (point and shoot) when I was in San Francisco for my previous job. I was so upset at losing the ability to take high quality photos on the go…and lo and behind I received this incredible replacement! I’ve been a Canon girl for ages, and I adore this little blue one. Though I may need your advice on getting a new case. It’s currently on sale at Futureshop if you’re interested – lots of fantastic in-camera effects (my favourite being Toy-Camera). What’d you receive this xmas?
