Prada L'eau Ambrée

I don’t think I was ever quite privy to knowledge about fragrances until recently. Having never owned an eau de parfum before (Eau de Toilette was the extent of my reach – though only with many a giggle), I wasn’t aware of the intense differences that existed between the two classification.

In came Prada’s new fragrance from women, Prada L’eau Ambrée. Described as a fragrance “that has a graceful presence, empowering but never demanding”, I’ve found it to be a stunning and refreshing shift in my fragrance collection. From when I first gingerly opened the wrapping on this fragrance, to delicately screwing on the atomizer (again, a first for me), I took in the incredible product design and impressionable aesthetic.

Here are details on the scent itself:

Citron

The Sicilian citrus top note of citron is refreshing yet rich, giving an unexpected grace and balance to the fragrance

May Rose

At the heart of the fragrance is may rose. Buttery, light, and above all sensual, it is the essence of femininity.

Amber

The evocative ambery dry down based on patchouli, vanilla, and opoponax is traditionally interpreted as an ancient and intoxicating accord, but L’Eau Ambrée zooms in on its delicate and refined characteristics, giving a contemporary impression

The line also includes a shower gel, a body lotion, a body cream, and powder with puff (images below). Also loving their ad campaign (in the gallery).

My heart’s stolen, I adore it.

Oh my word it’s incredible – I’ve never felt so attached to a fragrance so quickly. I’m now wishing they did more eau de toilettes in eau de parfums.

I’m now comprehending why people love these brands. Heart!!

  • Oh yes,
    I LOVE Prada scents

My all time favourite though, is definitely 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden. It has been my scent since 8th grade!

    =)

  • Looks very classy :)
