I’ve loved preloved. I’ve preloved, preloved. Don’t get what I mean? There’s a beautiful little boutique that resides on Queen West (where I first learned about them), however they’re a true success story, where their concept has allowed them to expand into worldwide markets and hold a strong celebrity following from stars like Hilary Duff, Daria Werbowy, Maria Menounos, Kate Hudson, and Anne Hathaway.

So I’ve told you about how big they are – but what’s the concept? Just as you’d suspect from the foreshadowing of the name, preloved is all about in their own words, “one of a kind clothing from reclaimed vintage fabrics”. With the whole movement to becoming more sustainable and the re-emergence of vintage society, preloved is exactly what youthful fashionistas need.

What inspired this post? Taking a peek (argh, I know, I’ve been letting the little word slip into all my day to day conversations) at their S/S 09 lookbook online. The pictures stun – be prepared.
