Back to School ‘08 - Preppy is Back

I’m loving this Fall’s preppy look - it seems to be all about faux uniforms, crests emblazoned on blazers, and the revival of the ‘campus’ look. Some of my favourite additions to the style roster would be coat-of-arms necklaces, ‘ivy league’ jackets, and faux horn-rimmed thick framed glasses (although really, they’re just the wayfarer style with clear lenses).

This makes me wish I took advantage of my university years, where retailers touted the ‘campus look’ (aka expensive sloppiness). We can all reminisce though right?

    i love tat cute black blazer..kinda similar to the one aritzia had two years ago..is it just me, or that AE changed its style up quite a bit this season, mostly improvements :P or maybe i’m just being silly..

    Very random, I know! I like the shift though, American Eagle has a lot of catching up to do if it wants to distinguish itself from the Hollisters and AFs in the world.
