PRETTY: The NYLON Book of Beauty
And you thought NYLON stopped at the fresh, urban magazine. I was strolling through Aritzia the other day (one of my three visits per week to the mall), and I found this awe-inspiring book filled with pages and pages of beautifying tips. The imagery was so raw yet perfect that I adored skimming through the overpriced soft-cover (it was about $25.00). The eclectic collection of image enhancing techniques was endearing not only because of the empowering content, but the photography and design held within its covers. I love books of pretty things.

If u have idols ranging from joan crawford to my fave edie sedgwick, or any iconic women from the 1920’s to 1990’s you will love this book. It also has iconic makeup and fragrances such as Nars the Multiple, YSL Opium, and Urban Decay shadows. There are no reviews no how-tos just great fresh ideas for your own makeup adventures. True it is a bit expensive but if you have borders rewards (lol) you can get like 30% off coupons, but this book is totally worth it though. I love NYLON.
