We were lounging at the SHARP Book for Men Launch Party last Thursday, and we had a glorious time.  At the Origin Restaurant, Claudio Aprile’s newest venue in Downtown Toronto, we partied the night away to music by DJ’s Marsha and Sandra Kissette, and an open bar sponsored by Absolut Elyx, Glenlivet, Peroni and Grey Goose. Of course no eatery would be complete without some cuisine. Mouth watering food from oysters to filet minion were served to perfection.

The SHARP Book for Men party was to celebrate the launch of the 2011 Spring/Summer edition of the book. This is the second edition in the biannual series which launched in November. The S/S book has 214 pages of tailored fashion, fast cars, smooth alcohol, lavish watches, spiffy shoes and an array of the finest items of which any man would want to covet.

On top of the music, drinks, and cuisine, superb time pieces and mobile phones were out on display to try on for size, provided by Bandiera Jewellers. Mont-Blanc watches to the luxurious Vertu phones were showcased. This had me thinking, I could use a new phone to add to my array of gadgets.

To top it off? SHARP Magazine had their books on ice (see picture below) which I thought was something kind of wonderful.
