Shoes are Life

I Fought the War and the War Won

I’m going to openly testify that you are able to purchase shoes that deserve coveting from seemingly cheesy stores. While Aldo and Feet First are brands that scream mass availability, I’m completely content with my menswear inspired boots and tall-whatever boots (I know, technical term that is). Thoughts and concerns? I know I have lurkers – delurk as a favour to me.

Happy Saturday folks!

Hey Gloria! Not only I think that both pairs look fabulous (would have never guessed Aldo/FeetFirst), I celebrate the fact that you got amazing finds with a little budget. You will look amazing. Stylish girls (I know you are one, you gotta be! ;-)) can pull anything off looking creative and unique.

One more thing… I loved the fact that you used a line from Metric. Love that band.

hey mel! you’re so sweet – thanks so much for the comments and keep ‘em coming ;D

I’m all about the bargain finds – not because I’m adverse to spending a lot…but sometimes it’s just nicer to dig out things that people don’t normally notice! isn’t that what fashion’s all about?

ps – no worries about the metric, lots more where that came from, aka http://www.imeem.com/urbanebloc

    Hey girlie!
I hear you, I’m the same! I’m not against spending a lot when you are absolutely in love with an item (ask my Miss Sixty brown boots)that is completely worth it, but it is good to pay attention to those tempting sales where, as you mentioned, treasures are hidden. Specially in times like these, we can always turn to sales to guiltlessly satisfy our ever present fashion cravings ;-)
