I’ve been mulling over the purchase of this all too much lately. It’s a kitschy, one of a kind piece that holds all kinds of promise for great times. While it’s near the end of winter here in Toronto, Spirit Hoods are a tempting wear for the Spring/Summer 2011 season (don’t judge, c’mon. People in L.A. are adopting this, and if KE$HA is able to get away with this, so should the people that bear winter for months on end be allowed).
While I can’t justify dropping $130+ on a synthetic hood-scarf-with-pockets (though I’m leaning towards being willing), the variety of animals and versatility (not to mention good laughs) that this could provide is rocking my world.
www.spirithoods.com for your pick of animal. In addition to the goodness of the product, they’re also pro-wildlife. Every purchase of a product on their website with the “PRODUCT BLUE” designation, provides a donation to a related wildlife fund (so wolf products = donation to a wolf preservation non-profit).
I couldn’t wrap my head around this one at first (ha!), but they just look so warm. Checked out the website and the panda is awfully adorable.
And I love how they donate to wildlife. Sweet!

I’m so glad this trend made its way back West. I won’t feel so bad rockin’ my leopard hood next time we’re at G4T I brought back form Shibuya!
