If a vampire and Karl Lagerfeld made babies, I suspect she would look like Leigh Lezark. Her fair skin, pitch black hair, strong cheek bones, and slim build are a striking combination. Her look is dark, punk and feminine. It is this combination that makes for such an interesting and fashionable asthetic. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that she is also breathtakingly beautiful.

Leigh Lezark is one-third of a New York based DJ trio, The Misshapes. And through her DJ’ing gigs I had the opportunity to meet her in person. She was surprisingly petite, but expectedly decked out head-to-toe in black lace. Smokin’. While I am not familiar with her mixing (which I am told is really great as well), I am devoted to her polished underground fashion sensibilities. It is this juxtaposition that makes her so wonderful.

As a child of the nightlife, Leigh may not be a household name just yet, but she has been on the fashion radar for quite sometime. Her personal style is so glamourous and dark it is hard not to stare. Leigh has also been featured in the latest DKNY fall ad, and named as a muse to the genius Karl Lagerfeld! And who are we to argue with KARL?
