You will never guess where I got my new favourite summer dress. Garage Clothing! I know what you all are thinking urbanebloc fashionistas, but you will be pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful basics and great prices. YAY!
As I mentioned in an earlier article I’m going away on vacay, DOUBLE YAY!! (and double exclamation points!!). I noticed this awesome dark turqouise aztec patterned dress in the display and just had to have it. Plus it’ll go perfectly with funky neon beach accessories, sandals, and a fedora hat.
Also on my way outta the shop, I picked up a few simple white tank tops, a girl can never have too many of those. Great fit, stretchy material- think Gap meets American Apparel. I’ll be sure to stop by again when I need more tees and tanks.
So that’s all for now folks. Ciao!
Suspenders are back. I know, I know, you haven’t worn a pair since your second grade class picture but I assure you, suspenders are hip again. We’re are not talking about Gordon Gekko sized two inch think multiple striped braces but a nice simple classic pair of thin ones. I suggest the pair of Fred Perry suspenders pictured above (which also come with some neat packaging) or American Apparel‘s unisex set.
It’s a rummage sale! And it looks like a rummage-y good time. Here are the deeee-tails:

I always used to joke about the colouring of a shirt through the use of edible items or condiments. Mustard was not excluded.
Mustard this mustard that, this season is all about our yellow-bottled friend. The first mustard item that caught my eye? A lovely cardigan from Urban Outfitters. The second? An American Apparel Skirt that Little Thoughts Yulanda has sported in the past (adorable!). And lastly, Ben Sherman threw a mustard sweater into the mix - it’s sporty yet overtly sleek looking.
So mustard it is – embrace it, bandwagon it, and then move on to ketchup.

As summer passed us by and we bid it adieu, we must say thanks to American Apparel for putting out a solid scantily clad effort in their advertising. Well, as seasons change I’m sure they’ll find more creative ways to market skin over cloth, but who’s asking me anyway?
Let’s pay tribute to the greatness that is….the THIRSTY AD.
“Publish Wayne already!” – I’m getting to it I’m getting to it!
