Jeffrey Campbell goes Fringe

Posted by Gloria on May 13th, 2011 - Leave a Comment

Being that I’ve been purse obsessed lately (you should see the pictures of my new Tory Burch), I’m in need of sharing this immediately. Being a fan of Jeffrey Campbell Wedges (and admittedly not being able to purchase them for fear of walking in them all too tall), these purse offerings exclusive to Little Burgundy will most definitely not fall short of tall expectations. Triangle x square silhouettes have me at hello. Your take?

Well, this is getting to be really fun.

Men’s Shoes – Hobo ou Non?

Men's Shoes Hobo

GUYS – I’m reaching out to you in hopes of getting your very humble opinions (and possibly hilarious ones). Why is it that men’s footwear is recenly trending styles of the hobo kind? See above for example.

Tretorn Blue Espadrille - While boasting a comfortable look, I can’t help but presume that the person who fills these shoes is on their way to a hackey sack game. That or going to a hemp convention. But at $68.00 for an outdoor slipper, I’d say it would be a fair go.

Jeffrey Campbell Huarache – I’m pretty sure this is an adaptation of a girl’s shoe – how wrong that is I’m not sure, but I can’t foresee the near future allowing for men to wear this shoe with a straight face.

H by Hudson Ameto – Lacking shape but rich in colour clash, this shoe has me equal parts confused and mildly disoriented. $84.00 later you might feel disheartened to know that you’re not likely to get the ladies in this shoe.

Maybe this was a post to get my pent up confusion out – what do you think?

Hello My Name is Jeffrey Campbell

Jeffrey Campbell

I stepped outside today and two things immediately came to mind: 1) I suck for having to work on such a beautiful day (and I’m certain I’m not alone in this) and 2) Yay for sandals, flats, and cut-out booties! I don’t know about you, but personally, I’m dreading the day Uggs, Sorel boots, and thermal socks make their unwanted comeback. It’s about time my feet get some breathing room! And hey, what better way to celebrate this triumph than with some good ol’ Jeffrey Campbell footwear. They are super comfortable and super trendy – the perfect 1, 2 combo.

Here are some of my favourites from his Spring/Summer 09 collection. They are definitely show stoppers, show show stop-pers(8) (Oh Danity Kane, where art thou?)

Hail thee Jeffrey Campbell! You’ve got sole.

The Zuliman Slouch Boot – Aren’t we special

Posted by Josette on October 18th, 2008 - Leave a Comment

Slouch boots are everywhere, they’re my most coveted style of the ones I have, but a casual version is a must for when the snow hits. The only thing stopping me? I want a pair that will stand out in the sea of… slouchiness, we don’t want an Ugg repeat this winter. Enter le Zuliman boot. The “le” makes them “l’ovely”, a little happy came over me when I saw them. Sick of slouch? Pull those suckers up (reverse if necessary)! Boots are nothing if they aren’t versatile.

Mister Campbell, you make goooood boots.
