Right after jumping off the ferry from the plane from NYC (mouthful), I ushered myself over to the Tastemakers Lounge at the Intercontinental (where many a celebrity had scurried through during TIFF) to check out some of the wears and wares showcased. To my delight, the first thing that I beelined for was the mini-manicure station, where Joe Fresh nail colours were prominently on display. Envious of all the grey nails that I had seen in the marvelous giant apple, I had to get a mid tone grey painted on my digits.

In love with the nails done by a lovely Irish miss, I was handed a bag of goodies from Allison of Joe Fresh, and directed towards the Wescan Optical booth where I picked up some amazing dark black frames from Evatik (hello optical-cross-dressing! I adore them though – post later).

A walk through of the entire suite was in store, where Leesa took me from Jessica Jensen leather goods to Mattel Games, to Bam Jamz.

I have to say – I’m starting to really love the TIFF Festivities, it’s my first year taking part, and to see the fresh ideas and fresh goods that are emerging from Canadians makes me giddy inside.
