Simply put, I love the Designers Remix collection by Charlotte Eskildsen.

It seems as though along with the lowest poverty rates in the entire world, the Scandinavians also boast some quite talented designers (read about Henrik Vibskov here!) While not necessarily up-and-coming (the label was founded in 2002), Designers Remix is now starting to break ground in North American markets.

Eskildsen takes classic shapes, styles and cuts, adding modern embellishments here and there leading to a cutting-edge final product that isn’t too over the top. As she puts it,

” I love to intermingle different design elements in a way that redefines femininity.”

And redefine femininity she does. Unique and slightly pricey, her designs may be found in stores scattered around Denmark and Sweden or, for us lucky Canadians, on SSense.com.
