TokiDoki has always been my personal muse - I can’t seem to grasp the concept of a Japanese-inspired cartoon design exuding sophistication and fun. Simone Legno, an Italian Designer, has established collaborations with numerous companies producing items such as stationary, hats, clothing, and most notably their line with LeSportSac. These elaborate designs leave their purse-starved following in awe from season to season as they change colour schemes, sizes, and characters.

Recently Simone Legno has collaborated with Onitsuka Tiger (Asics’ popular shoe line) to create a mischievous tiger character. Based on the website there isn’t any information regarding the actual line, but come Spring 2008 we’ll be able to see the active critter come to life.

Not only is TokiDoki involved with this new line, but the company will also display its colourful art on the cover of the self claimed ‘Bicultural Quarterly’ BLINK MAGAZINE.
