While this post isn’t really as the title alludes to (cross-dresser wedges, ahem), it’s to highlight these ever so awesome wedges from TOMS Shoes. If you’re not familiar with the company, TOMS Shoes is a social business – for every pair of shoes you purchase, one pair is donated to a child in need. They call them “vegan-friendly style” for all. Up until now I wasn’t necessarily as keen on the brand as their no-lace models tend to look a little too hackey-sack lover for me. However, this girly edge has something over me.

The shoes are available in Canada in stores such as Holt Renfrew, Little Burgundy, and Aritzia. Don’t be fooled, the pricing is shockingly affordable (the wedges are $80 CAD). This particular model is a part of the Spring 2011 collection, featuring young UK photog Dan Eldon’s works as part of the palette. I love seeing wedges, art, and comfort in my near future.
