Toronto Welcomes the Dutch Danish

Vero Moda - Queen Street West ‘v’elcomes you to our trendster neighbourhood. This Dutch brand entered the Toronto market in opening its store on September 20th, 2007. I haven’t visited the store (but I plan to next week), however the website describes it thoroughly as ‘one of Europe’s biggest fashion brands started in 1987′. As its brand continues to grow and expand globally, it follows in the footsteps of retail powerhouses such as H&M, Mango, and Zara as it gradually takes over North America. Do we need more European influences? Canadians are always criticized for lacking its own personal style, which is probably right seeing as these wildly popular retailers are constantly manifesting our fashion market. Thoughts anyone?

the company is actually Danish. set up by Troels Polvsen. http://www.bestseller.com
