They used to be the hottest brand among teenagers from the early 2000′s, their product sold in all the major teeny bopper stores (JeanMachine, OverTheEdge, BoatHouse), and then they managed to somehow disappear off the radar. Alternating between the ’555′ and ‘Triple5Soul’ emblems plastered typically over the front of their garments (likely to be zipups), these massively overpriced items were donned by a nation of youth. Am I wrong in saying that no one really pays attention to this Brooklyn-based clothing line, or am I the only one in all of this?
After a quick Wiki-Check, I was reaffirmed:
“Triple 5 Soul is a clothing company in the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and Japan. It was founded in 1989 at 151 Ludlow Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City by designer Camella Ehlke. Its clothes are featured on the Canadian television series Degrassi.
Currently, Triple Five Soul’s headquarters is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at 185 Wythe Avenue.“
Hey, if it only deserves 2-3 lines on Wiki then you know something’s a little off.
