CK We Are One Contest

If you’ve gone to Shoppers Drug Mart anytime lately, you may have noticed a peculiar looking bottle perched near the entrance of the beauty department. The CK One Fragrance has relaunched the iconic scent, framed around the “We Are One” movement – a theme of empowerment, bringing individuals together, and most importantly, using music to inspire. The “We Are One” track debuted during the US inagural festivities – so you’ll want to capture this piece of history.

If you’re lusting after a singing fragrance bottle like I am (hey guys – I don’t even get one of these babies so I want to see you entering), guess what? YOU CAN WIN A BOTTLE FROM URBANEBLOC.COM.

Yeap – you got it. All you have to do:

  1. Comment on this post with what the “We Are One” song makes you think of. Keep it clean (WAYNE).
  2. Keep in mind the contest is open only to Canadian residents, and it ends March 31, 2009
  3. Wait for the draw!

Two little things and a singing bottle and T-SHIRT could be yours. EZPZ – looking forward to some giggles. Get to posting <3

  • I think the song represents hope and excellence that we can develop when we work together. We are together in this struggle to save the planet, resolve the financial crisis, and poverty around the world.

  • Drusli

It reminds me of the four teletubbies wrapping their fat lemon fingers around each other’s whilst running down the street saving the world from human wreck.

  • Courtenay

The shirtless dude with long hair reminds me of my ex-boyfriend… not in a good way. I think he cheesed it up too much for me. The song itself sounds like an American Idol tune – you know, the ones all the remaining contestants sing at the very end and are forced to release as their first single? But at least the song means well.

I have to say, I LOVE the comments that you guys leave me on these contests, I think I just laughed myself silly. while contained.

teletubbies and bad american idol beauty pageant style choruses are what I live for. how did you know?

    keep em coming, I’m dying!

  • Joey

The video just reminded me of nature, and how free we can be. Having so much people in the video just shows how special individualism is.

  • Aileen Hung

I think the vid’s kinda cheesy but gets the message across loud and clear. Yes! We do need to unite as one and work together to make our planet a better place. Afterall, what goes around comes around.

  • HeidiTee

It makes me think that the guy with the long hair would look a lot better with short hair.

  • Gloria (author)

I really love that they’re all frolicking about haha…

  • I used to love ck one. The video reminds me of freedom and since theyre all slim and gorgeous LOL reminds me that it’s time to shape up!

  • HY

….makes me NOT wanna BUY the product….

  • Gloria (author)

hhmm, what does that mean HY – that you want to, WIN it? ;D

  • It takes me back.
It reminds me of time that has passed.

I used to love CK One back in the day and the advertisements, the black & white photos of Kate Moss that made me think “I wanna be her when I grow up”. The song takes me back to when I lived at Bondi Beach in Australia. It was so carefree, full of days without worry and frolicking in the sand. Walking with arms around each other and being a big group of friends feeling carefree. The beach was beautiful and for a minute while I watched this video, I felt the warmth of being back there.

  • Leslie

The guy with the long hair needs a hair cut This is not the seventies.

  • MANUEL VIZCAYA

    unity

  • Misterio

Makes me think of a gatheround..let’s get together as a united group !

  • Kathy Reitlo

This is a relaunch of CK..the 70′s..long hair

  • Jennifer W

Lovefest! Not much to do with cologne, like many beauty ads. Kind of a B&W version of the movie Dazed and Confused-the morning after the bush party.

  • Debra Bashford

Reminds me that the 70′s was a great time to be young.

  • Tammy G.

It reminds me of when I was a surf hippy lol. I’m not sure I like this video tho’ I understand it’s to unify youth. I’m feeling sadly left out now ;)

  • Andrew

The video makes me think about how people can work together to solve some of the environmental issues of the world. Although that may just be some residual feelings left over from Earth Hour. I am not a fan of the hippie singer, he should get a haircut.

  • cc

Unity and togetherness I think would be what it means to me!

  • I think the “video” is a little too “Raw”,”raw”,”raw”,however maybe that’s we need in todays nutso society.

  • Londia

We are one to me makes me think that yes we all unique individuals but we can all be one by helping eachother out but we allso need our freedom at the same time.

  • HY

    hahahaha gloria..you got me…..u understand me soo well… ~.~
    no wonder we’re superdupers!
