Winter’s mellowing down but we’re still here to give you the pick of the best winter jackets and coats for the remainder of our frigid times. With a little luck, you might just find these pups on sale.

1. Maria’s Pick: Mackage Cassidy Wool Jacket

It’s the Mackage “Cassidy” wool coat in Toffee. It’s got a simple, clean, asymetrical design with hidden button closure and cuff detail on the sleeves. I especially love the back with the belt buckle detail. I got it at mackage.com and it’s on sale now for $285 (down from $570).

2. Amanda’s Pick: J Crew Winteress Puff Coat

Truth: there are some instances where I will advocate for fashion over function, but winter in Canada is not one of them. Luckily, J. 3. Abby’s Pick: Leola (on sale!)

This Soia and Kyo jacket has been the warmest hug this winter! It is 70% down, water resistant, has a great faux fur trim and is just the right length that is keeps my thighs and bum warm! The form fitting waist makes it a more feminine winter jacket, which I can definitely appreciate in the cruel cold (I mean, who likes looking frumpy AND cold!!). I picked this up from Blossom one or two winters ago and have never been happier.

4. Gloria’s Pick: Collette Duffle Wool Jacket

Fur, toggle, and red. All aspects of stylishness bundled into one beautiful jacket. That and I’m a huge S&K fan just as Abby is ;)

5. Josette’s Pick: North Face Triple C

I’ve checked out Nobis, Rudsak, Mackage, Wilfred, even TNA, and TODAY I bought my North Face Triple C – and I love it!

It’s long but it has shape, which a lot of full-length coats DO NOT (very necessary).  Plus I asked like three people on the street and they all said that it’s the best coat they’ve ever had.

It’s 700 –fill, which anybody who has researched down coats knows, is perfect for Toronto winters because you don’t get over heated – and I can wear a dress or long sweater without looking stuffed and crazy.
