The Green Fashion movement is here and seemingly here to stay. The challenge lies in making the actual clothing look good.
Don’t know what I mean? Think those H&M t-shirts endorsed by a plethora of celebrities. Were they that well designed? No. Was I ever compelled to purchase them? Not really.
Nicole Bridger embraces the contemporary woman and her line is framed as “Style with Sustenance”. As a Ryerson Fashion Grad, she has been presented grand opportunities such as interning for Vivienne Westwood in London.
Her press release puts it beautifully:
While most sustainable designers may be known for their innovative approach to “eco-friendly fashion,” with their hemp dresses and burlap bags, Nicole Bridger brings the focus back to fashion with her unapologetically chic designs and glamorous styles that make a statement. So fret not, fellow fashionistas,
Nicole Bridger put sustenance at the fore front of the fashion rat pack with designs that won’t remind you of a 60’s trip back from Woodstock, but of a refined classical era of stylish Renaissance. Fall’s super heroine looks are complimented with casual cool in Nicole Bridger’s Courage Cardigans. Pure virgin wool and cashmere fabrics, drenched in luxe chocolate and noir colors bring an aura of mystery, seductiveness, and supremely confident style. Layer under the Grateful Tunic, a striped organic blend of cotton and bamboo fabrics, which typify the slouchy boho style of the season’s stylish new hippie.
Slim, fluid silhouettes reflect fall’s trend of long, lean designs as showcased in the Happiness Gown. This stunning black silk georgette frock makes a strong, bold statement of heaven sent
luxury fit for a queen.
Whoever wrote this needs to write something about me – it paints such gorgeous imagery. Uhm, call me?
